Palette de regard is a series of close-up portraits, a single eye, framed tightly against a monochrome background. Olive yellow, lime green, warm grey. The background becomes a colour field, the iris a secondary detail.
Each portrait follows the same protocol: same focal length, same distance, same frontal light. What varies is the colour. The eye, nominally the subject, is reduced to a plastic element, equivalent to the field that surrounds it.
