Fragment d'espace isolates corners of ordinary architecture, ceiling angles, wall edges, intersections, treating them as abstract compositions. Tightly framed, bathed in light that flattens surfaces, these details become chromatic fields: dusty pink, slate blue, lilac, terracotta.
What remains is no longer quite architecture, not yet painting. An in-between where the geometry of the real meets the constructed geometry of the image.
Ongoing series since 2023.
